People say good things about WP e-Commerce too… If you have something good to say about WP e-Commerce let me know and we’ll scream it out nice and loud!!

John Munson

We wanted to sell photos for client within a web site designed using WordPress in a seamless intuitive way while reducing expenses using Google Checkout as internet merchant and processor.
What prompted you to seek out a technology solution to address that challenge. Instead of trying to mix WordPress and Zen Shopping Cart software, Instinct’s software allowed me to stay within WordPress and offer an intelligent and easy to use shopping cart.

It’s easily the Best e-Commerce Solution available for WordPress!

Why WP e-Commerce? Turn-key setup and rapid deployment for size of projects and easy scalability. Best fit, right price, decent support and forum info.

Integration with WordPress was flawless

Brian – Bauchica.com

What e-commerce suite to deploy? I have had a great amount of experience utilizing OS-Commerce for various online retailers and was new to both WordPress and WP e-Commerce.

A friend of mine was heavily involved in deploying WordPress and customizing it for online businesses. He prompted me to give it a go. Excellent plugin, great support and direct input into future releases.

I have about 20 active websites of various types, and just put WP e-Commerce on one, and plan to put it on at least 2 more.

I recently implemented a shopping cart for my lingerie site, but it took months to find one, and then it turned out to be a turn-key solution which won’t work for my other projects.

WP e-Commerce is ideal for at least 2 other of my sites that are on the WP platform. It is simple to use, and inexpensive. I just finished installing it on Mr Fixit yesterday, and it really rocks! Excellent shopping cart solution – so easy to use.

Best shopping cart software for wordpress

Craig – Fast & Light

When I came up with the idea there was nobody doing AR gear in the U.K. A few companies were dabbling or started up during Fast & Light’s gestation, but they were trying to exploit an untapped market without knowledge behind them, sending punters (eventually) to me for decent advice.

Site was originally built on CubeCart 3, and at the time was the cheapest solution I could find. Problems arose from lack of tweak-ability and having to get millions of mods to enhance functionality.

Site went tits in the Summer of ‘07 when my old hosts upgraded from an ancient version of PHP to something vaguely more current without informing me, whilst removing modules that were required for CC processing. This totaled my site irreparably.

At the same time I was commissioned by another company (read as: some mates) to write a report on the best way to create an e-commerce solution on the cheap. I bought a server and installed my old friend Wordpress to get some angst out, and to have a semblance of a site while purchasing and trying to rebuild CubeCart 4 with all the old features still plugged in. One day, by pure change I put something like “Wordpress ecommerce plugin” into Google and came across Instinct. I nearly wept when I saw the feature list and started to play with it immediately.

The next few days saw me scrapping both my report and website and starting over using the Instinct plugin. I’ve had my fair share of problems and there is still functionality I’d like to see present, but at the same time, I reckon it’s by far the best solution for me and countless other people who don’t have VC or infrastructure to produce sites that could compete with some gigantic big box ***.

The plugin is peachy. Compared to most other ecommerce packages it’s bleeding edge and because it’s running on blog software indexes well in Google. Better that most professional sites. If only it had a google products compatible feed… Also, I love the fact that Instinct is an indie outfit and you can speak directly to them. It feels grassroots and I love that. I’d always rather pay instinct money than any flotilla of big box software drones.

Jeff – I Like The Ride Creative

I needed a ecommerce solution for clients websites.
A lot of customers wanted a blog and have one or two products to sell. WP is a great tool and your ecommerce solution is the best I have found. You have the best product available.

James Jones – RISMedia

Once it was decided that our website would be built upon Wordpress, we knew we wanted a shopping cart solution that would be integrated into it. Compatibility with Wordpress and great reviews of WP e-Commerce.

Ryan

An overwhelming number of shopping carts. Many which were bloated and hard to customize.

Wordpress has so many features through plugins and can be designed the way we wanted. There is no other competition for shopping carts for Wordpress.

Graham Hallas Bsc (QTS)

A small dedicated team passionate about moving forward in the world of WordPress, the web and developing new innovative ways to sell on different platforms. I have however gone through some times of losing faith with Instinct in relation to your support structures but I think great improvements have taken place and I am happy to have ridden them out to this stage … now you have to keep this level of support up and I think you will see great fortune!!!!

Joel – Static Age Records

I was trying to supplement my earnings from my brick and mortar store with a mailorder site’s funds. Trying to afford having my site built and shopping cart built and maintained. Wordpress and Instinct have changed all of that for me. I am a complete novice and can’t believe how far I have gotten with your products!

I wanted to be able to service more than just my hometown. We rely on tourism here, and that has steadily declined the past two years. Also, the way the music industry is changing, it is important that I get out to more people.

Hi Dan,

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for an amazing product. Your gold cart, drag drop cart solution is hands down the best plug in for Wordpress I have seen (and I have seen quite a few!). I am not a programmer by any means and I was able to get the plugin installed and working within a few hours by simply following your directions, I ran into a few small problems (scrollbar, merchant folder error log, .png transparency) all of which I was able to easily address through the use of your forums.

I have noticed a lot of people around the web complaining about your company and even you specifically for your lack of tech support which I believe to be unfounded, you returned my first email regarding activation issues in a timely fashion and I know first hand what it’s like to be a small operation with a lot to accomplish on a daily basis. There is only so much time in the day.

I am hoping that this email will help encourage you to continue creating great products like the drop shop for the Wordpress community. Feel free to use this message as a testimonial, and know that I will be buying more licenses from you in the future to use on my future projects. I also intend on posting our finished site in your forum as another example of what this great plugin is capable of.

Thanks Again For Your Great Work,
Todd Marek

We needed an easy platform that we could build content and manage web pages with. After testing some Blog & CMS packages we chose to use WordPress as our content management system.

We planned on deploying a shopping cart system and after some researching of available PHP based carts out there, we finally found WP e-Commerce. We were surprised at how easily manageable, robust the system is and well integrated into WordPress it is. I knew we just had to go with it banking on the fact that this WP e-Commerce would be well maintained and with revisions to keep up with the market as well was WordPress revisions.

It was the right choice and were pleased that it was more!

Hi Dan -

I just wanted to let you know how much I love your WP eCommerce plugin. It’s fabulous!

Looking over the forums, and having some idea about how complicated creating an ecommerce solution really is, I have a feeling that most of what you hear is bad news. People complaining. People unhappy. People always wanting MORE.

I wanted to be sure that you’re getting some positive feedback too.

I’ve used ZenCart for a few years, and always struggled with how cruddy and funky it felt. The user experience always felt junky to me, and it was very, very difficult to set up and use. I probably made 10 cents for every hour that I spent setting up my store. 3 months ago, I chucked the entire thing, and just went to Paypal buttons for all of my stuff.

It sucked to setup, but it was better then ZenCart. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use the PayPal shopping cart, so every purchase required another transaction.

I’ve spent the weekend working on my site/store, and I’ve been very pleased with how great your interface is.

I love that:

* Everything about a product is on one page
* I love the main description and the more details fields, and how that works in the admin
* I can add multiple images, and it formats the thumbs and other images for me
* I can add one tag to add a whole store category to one page
* I can manage my whole store install on one page
* The user experience isn’t cludgy or junky
* I’ve been able to reformat most of the site to work well with my template
* I don’t have to store any sensitive data on my DB, and I can simply push people to buy from Paypal
* You are not gouging people a lot of money to use this plugin. Your pricing is great and encourages Gold upgrades.

Please fight the urge to make this a bloated and super-complicated shopping cart. I want simplicity and polish, and can live without every feature under the sun.

Thanks again for your awesome plugin. Please keep improving it.

Daniel

Personally I hate osCommerce! I only have one client with two sites on it but I’m really not a fan of osCommerce at all. I also don’t have a problem with the GUI part of the WP eCommerce plugin. I find it pretty simple and straightforward to use.
