Don’t bother with this product. It doesn’t work as advertised with Paypal Pro, whose web team, after hours of problems, informed me that the shopping cart doesn’t pass along the proper country code. I read that the Gold Cart (a $195 upsell) might solve the problem so I bought it. It DID NOT solve the problem, further, it didn’t even install properly despite following the insturctions.
I tried emailing this company MANY times and even called a few times. I am being ignored completely. So the cart doesn’t work, I spent an extra $195, got taken for a ride, and now I can’t get a refund. I would not suggest doing any business with this company until they get their act together. Just a fair warning.

is there still an issue with registering on the forums, we have been trying to register for over a week to no avail, never received an email with login details at all.
My client bought the Gold Cart upgrade yesterday and I have managed to fix a few problems in it but really do need some help, but without forum access how can I obtain this help?

Yea – no joy registering on the site – never get the password email. Have tried contacting getShopped but no joy.

I am trying to contact a sales rep for this company. I can’t seem to find a way to contact them. I have even tried to enter their forum and never receive an email. If someone can contact me I’d really appreciate it.
Here are my questions:
1 – Can the shopping cart do billing?
1.1 Monthly
1.2 Quarterly
1.3 Annually
- Does it use a “database” to store transactions?
- Does it have an “API” for integration?
- Does it have some tech sheets or specifications that we can get and read before we buy?
- And in your case, is it written in PHP…(so as to match your website technology.)
2 – Do customers login to the shopping cart or your web site?
3 – Coupon codes how do they work?
4 – Is there (CRM)(Customer Relationship Management?
5 – For accounting reasons, how are the receipts sent to you and are you able to send a custom response to each customer & also have a generic response?
6 – Can it support Product lines?
7 – Does this work with accounting software such as Simply Accounting?
8 IMPORTANT – Also, we have an issue with customers from Canada, if we receive a customer from Canada they can’t purchase from out site, they must go through Bell Canada. Is there a way to block or redirect those customers to somewhere else?
9 – How does the software alert the user when a subscription expires?
10 – What happens when someone doesn’t new their subscription?
11 – Can my programmer access the necessary file(s) in order to get information?
12 – Is there a secure way of getting the information?
13 – Does it store information inside a MySQL database?
14 – From my previous question about (CRM) you say it’s not built in. Is there away plugin that I install something for CRM or can you please clarify?
15 – When someone buys a product (is there) or (can we set) a “Trigger” that is sent so that we can setup the appropriate backend portion of our product? Or is it an email?
16 – Can you supply me with a Technical Spec Sheet?
17 – Can you supply me with a sample report, something with subscriptions preferably?
18 – Is there a way to convert subscriptions. Say someone upgrades, can we deduct the already purchased portion?
19 – Does this support multiple languages?

This company is an absolute joke and a complete con. Have purchase three items of software from them over a year ago and still have not received a working activation code from them. I have emailed them tirelessly in vain and read all the forums going but no solution works because the activation code they sent me is a dud.Furthermore I cannot use any of the additional plugins I bought because they rely on Gold Card to be activated first. I HONESTLY CANNOT BEGIN TO EXPLAIN HOW ANGRY I AM WITH THIS BUNCH OF MUPPETS!!! I sincerely hope that they either realise the importance of having happy customers or get shutdown.
