Comments on: WP e-Commerce Plugin 3.7.5.1

Since posting, I have tried numerous themes with the wp e-comm plugin and some seem fine, displaying the correct category title and many others have the same problem. I’m stuck, is it a problem with my theme or is it a problem with wp e-commerce.

If I can’t resolve it soon I may have to try Eshop or something else, although the client has already loaded it up with the stock. Not going to be happy but that’s what happens when you keep pushing for completion while it is still in development.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
In fact any reply at all would be good so I can stop reloading this page. :)

Firstly I must say I am very impressed with WP E-commerce. it is easy to learn and pass on and looks great too, even in basic free version. If I can sort out a few little things I will probably move up to the Gold Cart for the extra features.

My main problem is I am currently using Version 3.8.7 on an Artisteer generated theme and I am trying to get around the “last product added appearing as the title on the categories page” problem. I have searched for days and tried a few solutions that were either beyond my limited capabilities or maybe only worked with previous versions.

Can somebody please point me to a solution that will make the correct category title appear on the category pages, or failing that tell me how to turn off the title on the categories page?

Hi Dan,

I am using the free version of your plugin 3.7.2 but the paypal pro doesnt work
error “Sorry your transaction did not go through to Paypal successfully, please try again.” when checking out.

i am using this on a charity website that i done, this charity is for children with learning difficulties, and i have been having this iisue for a long time please i beg you to email me or write a reply here on how i can fix this issue, there have been many kind people who wanted to donate to the charity but we were not able to take any payment on the site, as im new with wordpress and your plugin i am stuck and need desperate help. Please help, if you could email me a solution that would be nice.

I still am unable to delete the extra pages, but I have found I can correct the permalinks in the URL Settings section of the Admin page.

Unsure if this is because of update, but it happened after I updated.
=)

I had previously changed the file name of my products-page and everything worked beautifully.

Then I tried to change the ‘title’ (so it would show up differently in the navigation) and I somehow ended up with an extra products page. And I can’t delete it. Every time I try to delete (or with the new WP update, to ‘trash’ it) I get an error –

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/………../wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-includes/theme.functions.php on line 471

And now there are also 2 versions of the page with the title I was trying to change TO.

With multiple versions of this page, navigation by categories is impossible because the directories have reverted to incorrect file names.

ANY help is appreciated.
