How do you make the products menu have the categories in it like the demo rather than checkout, your account, etc.?

    • Posted December 16, 2009 at 3:50 am | Permalink

It’s very easy. Create a new page. Look for the right side of page editor wher you see Attributes, there’s Parent there. Choose Product Page as parent of the page

I won’t suggest you to delete checkout, your account pages. WP E-Commerce will need it. I suggest you to hide it from menu.

Kate, thanks so much for helping so many people out with this awesome theme! If it’s not too basic for you to answer, I am having a really hard time figuring out how to hide the “checkout” and “your account” pages. Do you mean mark them private? Or something else?

        Thanks!

The 404 page is sparse and does not show the underlying theme. So there is no branding.

Any way to set the 404 page to show the theme with widgets and some instructions like the ones mentioned here?: http://yoast.com/404-error-pages-wordpress/

How do I get the WPSC Product Categories widget to have the same CSS style as that of the theme’s Categories sidebar?

    I’m using WP 2.9.2 with WP e-Commerce 3.7.6.1.

Some assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I’ve solved it. There was a conflict with the theme’s e-commerce.css

Under: #content .small ul.wpsc_top_level_categories li ul li
remove the ‘background’ and ‘border’, and

      Under: #content .small ul.wpsc_top_level_categories li
      give it a ‘padding-left’ of 0px;

Save the changes, and you’re done!

    Hello,
Is there a new version (2.1?) in the pipeline or is 2.0 good enough and not bugged?
    Thanks,

    Hi,

I really like this theme, it simple and good coded. But unfortunately this theme doesn’t updated yet to support WP 3.0 nav menu. Could you help me how to add this nav menu feature in this theme?
    Thank you for your help.

Hey there…having issues with the images being so small and that they’re cockeyed or lopsided when they upload. I need to rotate the images….any reason why we can’t use the media library already uploaded to the site? How do I get these images right side up?
