We will try to look at this for RC2.

I'm not sure I understand where you want the "ToS confirmation". Are you saying you want it somewhere other then on the checkout page where it currently is?

Hmm actually you need to enter your "ToS" into the admin section before they will show on your site. We should probably move that to the checkout settings page. Have a play.

They VAT stuff will probably require closer consultation with you and that said we would prefer to do a whole EU solution before we roll out a just German solution.

Strange. I'm using the same spec's as you (well 2.8.1 actually) and its working fine. Can you try the following and let us know the results:

1) force refresh your cache
2) try disabling javascript and tell us what happens

Also wanted to congratulate you on a great plugin! It's so easy, I was able to setup a fully functioning site within 3 hours with no experiance with the plugin. After coming OScommerce and Mal's Cart, what previously took weeks to setup with extensive hard coding is as simple as click, click, click. And you get props for being from New Zealand--I lived there for a glorious bit of time.

Ok--So here's my bug--and it's an easy setup to the form setup--the sales tax for many States have a few decimal points. For example, my local tax sales rate is 6.25%. Some areas have 6.125% as a tax. But the form only allows me to enter 6.2.
So in tax_and_shipping.php, Line 67
size="3" maxlength="3" ought to be changed to
size="5" maxlength="5"
That should be enough to appease our decimal-happy governments.

Sales tax support is a huge addition and I congratulate you on adding it with such simple presentation.

And what I wouldn't give for a steak & mushroom meat pie right about now! I miss those things!

Hi,

I'm currently developing an ecommerce website for a client who would like a WP solution. So I'm looking into your plugin - one of the things I'm noticing is that you have regional tax settings in a number of markets. In Germany, where I'm based, there are no regionally different VATs, but different VATs based on product categories. Maybe it's possible to implement this easily, as you already have the tax differentiation variables implemented. Another thing required for ecommerce in Germany is that the customer has to actively confirm that he has read the ToS as well as his right to return the purchase. Currently, this isn't possible with your plugin without hardcoding it in, apparently. Thanks!

Hi,

I was looking at the code trying to get the UPS Shipping Calculator to work.

ups.php, Line 90
	function getMethod($dest) {
 if ($dest == 'US') {

Which calls to line 139
 $dest = $_SESSION['delivery_country'];

These session calls don't appear to be updating correctly. Sometimes it is stuck on one of the international arrays and other times it's stuck on the array for the US. If a customer visiting the site is presented with the default location (in my case the US), and they want to ship to Italy, the ajax calls to update the $_SESSION['delivery_country']; don't refresh properly. They only get the option for the US rates.
