We have uploaded the 3.6.8 version of the WordPress e-Commerce plugin and just for fun we are naming this verison Monte-Carlo. This new version includes many a fix and many a new feature. Most notably:
- Overhauled shipping methods, including USPS and UPS
- Sexy WordPress 2.7 interface
- Better Image management
- Variations overhaul, now you can assocaite different files with different variations
- Customizable Email Messages (settings page)
- Quick Edit + Duplicate Products
- Beautiful new Purchase Log & Sales page in WP 2.7
And many many more new features and fixes!
The Gold Cart Module & Grid View files have also been updated so if you upgrade to 3.6.8 it is reccomended that you download these files again using the link in the original email receipt and upgrade them too.
Also later today we will upload a Development version of 3.6.9 with the Template engine. That should keep you all going over the Christmas holidays. We leave tomorrow night (23rd Dec 5pm NZT) and we return back to Work on the 7th of Jan 2009 @ 9am NZT.

I like the new color coding marking the transactions different stages as well as the edit/view/duplicate/delete options upon hovering over a product. The check boxes were also a nice addition to the product list. The default arrangement of the panels on the sales page is helpful – including links to pertinent updates. I also like the flat rate shipping options that have been updated. This is an awesome plugin, of which without it, my site would be non-existent. Its always been a GREAT plugin, but this version is amazing alongside wordpress 2.7. Thank You.
√ariations for digital downloads have made the biggest impact on my store… followed by customizable email messages… it’s great to be able to add greetings, support messages and links to all my emails…

Do you know if there’s a conflict between e-commerce 3.6.8 and the Featured Content Gallery that comes with the RevolutionTwo themes?
I haven’t tracked it all the way down yet, but the featured gallery started behaving badly (or not at all) when I activated e-commerce, and the only way to get it to work again was to deactivate the plugin.
The funky behavior is on a new 2.7 site. I have another site running on WP 2.6.5 site with the same RevTwo theme and featured content plugin, so I’m going to test the new e-commerce on that site later tonight and see if I can duplicate the behavior.
I would really love this plugin if it worked. Many great features and lots of hard work going into it.

@ Lori – Can you please upgrade your gold files (like it says in my post). Most of your issues should just go away. For the other I think Tom has responded to you in the forums :)
As you can see lots of other people do love this plugin. I hope you can be one of those people soon!!
