I forgotten to indicate that I use 3.7 version of WP ecommerce and use a child theme of hybrid theme framework. My server is (mt).

Also I tried to deactivate/activate the plugin and all the files are in the indicated location.

Ok just bought the gold cart and the grid view... was able to install in the wp-content\plugins\wp-e-commerce folder fine, then "gold options" showed up after upload under the "products" tab... so I went there, put the name and API key in.. then I copied the grid view files over... ok now what? Cant find any of the features... no documentation besides how to install.. "For more information visit our documentation page or visit our online forums.
" Is THIS this "forum"? Isnt much a forum nor documentation - I see no replies helping anyone..

Where are these features: Gold Features
- multiple image upload
- product search option

How do you enable the grid view?

Take a minute and add these answers to your readme files to help people get these installed easier.

Hi there,

I just purchased the Gold version, and am completely confused - it specifies to drop it into the following directory:

/wp-content/wp-shopping-cart/gold_cart_files/

however - I have no such directory! My WP Shopping Cart by default installs as such:

/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/

I downloaded the latest package - and the folder is pre-named “wp-e-commerce” - instead of “wp-shopping-cart”…

Am I missing something here?

Thanks in advance :)

I also purchased the Grid View add-on, but still am only able to choose Default View and beside it it still notes: "Purchase unavailable options"... I have copied the files to the proper directory - but I guess if the Gold Cart is in the wrong place as explained above.... then the Grid View probably won't work either.....

Please help! Thanks....

So….it’s finally here! After many, many hours of research and developing, the WP ECommerce Bible is available. The poplular WP ECommerce plugin for Wordpress, is an impressive ecommerce plugin for Wordpress to say the least, all that was missing was proper documentation. So after months of finding fixes, tips and tricks and getting to learn the plugin inside and out, myself and writing partner Arbie (crn-web.com) compiled the WP Ecommerce Bible.

It’s filled with over 120 pages of quality content, around 50 illustrative screenshots, and more than a dozen helpful text files for easy copy/paste. If you’ve ever wanted to know anything at all about this plugin, you’ll find it in the Bible. It’s currently up-to-date with WP ECommerce version 3.6.7 which is set to be released this week. All minor version updates will be included at no additional cost once you’ve purchased the Bible, so when there is an update or new version, you’re not stuck…just download a new copy and your activation key will open it as well.

We’re really proud of this documentation and believe it to be a very important part of setting up a successful installation of WP Ecommerce on your Wordpress site.
