Now anyone can make a mobile phone game

Instinct is a Wellington, New Zealand based company specialising in Flash Lite Game Development and E-Commerce solutions. We have two key products, these are the Adobe Game Suite and the WP e-Commerce plugin for WordPress.

Facebook is the words largest social networking site and receives approximately 60 million Unique Active Users per month. Instinct has created Facebook Applications for both of their two key products in order to take advantage of the Facebook community.

The Adobe Game Suite meets Facebook

Users of Facebook can with our product create their own mobile games and play other people’s games within Facebook.

People do this by adding the Adobe Game Suite application to their Facebook profile. The Game Suite application in Facebook allows people to design and build their own game levels – it is pretty simple to use, people select map tiles, game objects, and characters and place them on a stage. The next step is to click the “Save” or “Play” buttons and bingo they have their own working game. This is the first time Mobile Gaming has met Social Networking on such a potentially large scale.

We expect it to have wide appeal to those that are interested in creating mobile games, particularly people interested in level design. We anticipate some people will want to use the Game Suite for fun and creative recognition. Others will be in it for the money, for example if games are of a certain quality Instinct will look at including those games in their mobile portfolio and share any sales or ad generated revenue to the level creator.

This application and others have been developed by Instinct and are also hosted by Instinct locally in New Zealand. Our knowledge and experience with the Facebook API means that Instinct can help other New Zealand (and international) businesses get into the business of Facebook by helping them build and develop their own Facebook applications.

Also Corporate users will be able to purchase their own copy of The Game Suite where for example they will be able to adjust the game functionality and import their own graphics.

Instinct is looking for distribution partners in the USA and Japan for their mobile games.
