This application is nothing but hardship and the complete lack of support options is forcing me to look to other solutions. Pitty, the system shows great potential, but it is just not worth the trouble.

I have spoken with three web developers that are listed on this site as having implemented this software and they have all told me they abandoned this system for Shopp. That is currently the route I am looking at as well.

I've had it!
I am really frustrated over this piece of software. I spent the whole day today trying to get it to add VAT in a correct way. I didn't succeed. I went to the forum only to read loads of posts by people having the same problem - from more than a year ago up until today with a very meager response from Instinct.

The VAT-bug however is not the only one. The receipt that customers get after a purchase is not only wrong (no VAT at all added). It's also sloppy made and not possible to customize without extensive knowledge in php.

What really gets me is that you don't realize these problems until after hours or days of setting it up, fixing the css and putting in the products. I even made a language translation for it to Swedish which I informed Instinct about a year ago and again a few months ago. I never got a reply and they still include crappy old translation in their download. I guess this probably just proves how ignorant they are.

From now on I am definitely recommending my clients to stay away from e-Commerse and personally I will move over to Shopp http://shopplugin.net/

Thanks for reading!

Hey guys, i have being using this plugin for quite sometime now and i have being able to tweak it to my taste, but im kinda facing a challenge now.

One of my clients requires that after filling out the form on the checkout page and clicking the Make purchase button, he wants the page to redirect to a confirmation page (that is to enable the user confirm the details he or she has inputed) after which it can move on to the transaction result page.

My challenge is that i am not a programmer as such i've hit a road block, i will be most grateful if somebody/anybody can help me out with the code. Thanks alot.

i am totally new to wordpress and WP e-Commerce and i am facing a big problem with the sipping module of the plug-in . i am trying to setup a shop and everything is working fine except for the shipping module. I am configuring the shipping as per weight. Everything works fine until i put 2 or 3 entries. But i fully configure the shipping module as per weight it start getting problem. Well the problem is what every i buy and how much i buy it only picks the maximum shipping cost for every product i put in my shopping cart.
For example

2.204 pounds	22 price
4.408 pounds	32 price
6.612 pounds 37 price
8.816 pounds	41 price

Even if i put a product weighing 2.204 pounds it will charge me 41 dollars for that. I really need this working plz provide any solution for the problem.
if you really want to see whats going on u can visit the following url http://royalethnic.com/inshop/

Hi!

Is it possible to "disable" or make invisible the products' Price? If we did not input any amount, it will automatically become USD0.00 in the products page. How to make it invisible? Please help.

Thank you!!

I haven't had any errors with the plugin itself. I would like to know how to have the categories sort alphabetically. And when I login to the forum i get a database error and cannot view posts beyond the front of the forum displaying the main topics. I can view the posts when i'm not logged in however.

cheers,
derek

ps. great product.

Installation of WP e-commerce just caused a problem with the K2 sidebar module.

Receive an error: You must specify a valid module name.

Only other links I have found about this problem relate to others who have experienced the same problem,

How can I remove this issue?
